About the role:
The Red Hat Sales team is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to lead sales activities for our government vertical in Brazil. In this position, you will manage sales, customer satisfaction, and partner engagement within the assigned territory.

You will develop and maintain relationships with our channel partners and key accounts, while working on selling Red Hat's platform offerings and services under a partnership agreement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Successfully selling our offerings and services in an assigned territory or industry vertical
  • Meeting assigned sales quotas by acquiring new customer accounts and by renewing and growing existing accounts
  • Developing and closing sustainable revenues across technologies
  • Creating accurate sales forecasts and closing sales in line with Red Hat's goals
  • Growing existing business relationships and acquiring new business

Requirements include:

  • 8+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated record of success in the software industry with Public Sector, preferably in Brazil and Federal accounts
  • Solid understanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing
  • Ability to work as part of a dynamic team while demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and desire to make things happen
  • Good understanding of customer business and technology offering requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, marketing, or a technical discipline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%
