The Total Rewards Specialist role is a pivotal position in the organization's compensation and benefits strategy across Latin America.

This crucial function ensures internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the implementation, testing, and delivery of merit pay programs, incentive and bonus plans, reward and recognition budgets/planning, pay equity and compliance, job evaluation, surveys, market data analysis, labor forecasting/workforce planning, budgeting, project management, vendor relationships, and more.
  • Driving changes and implementation of compensation programs, processes, and tools, including testing to validate applicability to local market situations and driving implementation at a local level within the context of global guidelines.
  • Partnering with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to educate on the proper management of salary structures, analyzing compensation trends, and providing recommendations for adjustments, as well as supporting collective increases ensuring compliance with local legislation, union agreements, and other compensation regulations.
  • Administering employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives according to each country.
  • Preparing compensation and benefits reports for internal stakeholders, analyzing data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in total rewards, maintaining HRIS and compensation/benefits modules with accurate and up-to-date information, and supporting audits to ensure data integrity across systems.
