Business Development Lead Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Lead to spearhead our sales and business development efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strong relationships with customers, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and sell services to prospective customers
  • Develop a structured approach to prospecting and selling in assigned territories
  • Maintain positive customer and employee relationships
  • Provide feedback on customer usage to relevant stakeholders
  • Develop a scalable support and sales model/team
  • Keep all customer information up-to-date in CRM systems
  • Contribute to content required by prospects
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales and/or business development
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrated track record of sales and business development achievement
  • Experience managing sales teams and other professionals
  • Ability to sell to various levels of executives and in-field locations
  • Proven knowledge of agribusiness companies and networks
