About the Role:

As Hopper expands its footprint in Latin America, we are seeking Market Managers located in Mexico and/or Brazil to become integral members of our experienced Hotel team. In this pivotal role, you will identify, onboard, and cultivate a premium selection of hotels tailored to our swiftly growing customer demographic. By working closely with our hotel partners, you will enhance their performance within our platform. This position is vital in shaping Hopper's hotel offerings, ensuring they align with customer expectations and maintain a competitive edge. To excel at Hopper, you should possess a passion for travel and hospitality, an affinity for mobile commerce, and a preference for a dynamic startup atmosphere. Success in this role relies on effectively managing relationships, driving sales, and capitalizing on growth opportunities as part of our expanding team.

Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Expanding and diversifying a portfolio of local hotel partners through negotiations, securing distribution agreements, onboarding hotels, and maintaining daily relationships
  • Delivering results based on KPI metrics established by Hopper leadership
  • Engaging with individual hotels and hotel groups in Mexico or Brazil to achieve targets
  • Optimizing partner hotels' offerings on the Hopper app to enhance customer conversion
  • Boosting sales for hotel partners by providing data insights, exceptional support services, and collaborating with various Hopper teams
  • Negotiating seasonal promotions and enhancing engagement with hotel partners through marketing initiatives
  • Representing Hopper in the local market, elevating the company's profile with key influencers, and providing industry expertise
  • Educating Hopper colleagues on market dynamics and portfolio requirements
Qualifications of an Ideal Candidate:
  • A minimum of 10 years in the Hospitality sector (at least 5 years of relevant experience), with a strong passion for Travel and Hopper's mission
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enthusiastic about promoting Hopper's message on a global scale
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets
  • Experience in closing deals through complex sales processes with diverse stakeholders
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment
  • Proactive with a keen interest in cutting-edge technology
  • Skilled in prioritizing tasks and achieving set objectives
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • High-impact personality and a collaborative team player
  • Driven, results-oriented, and organized
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (mandatory), with Spanish as an additional asset
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% for market visits
