Senior Business Development Manager

The Platform Business Development Manager plays a crucial role in generating new revenue opportunities for the webOS platform within Brazil and LATAM. This position involves sharing expertise on App services with headquarters and collaborating with diverse companies in OTT, gaming, and music to drive success within LG device households.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our team and leverage your business acumen, technical knowledge, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with partners, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategic plans to drive sales and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Broaden trusted partnerships by understanding business needs and providing effective solutions to achieve goals.
  • Evaluate customer support processes to guarantee that partners using WebOS products and services can innovate through new sources.
  • Analyze data to gain insights, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with different teams to ensure smooth operation.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a related business or technology field is required.
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese is required; proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development or partner management, online and offline advertising, digital or e-commerce services is required.
  • Experience in OTT, broadcasting, media, platform, or online services (SVA) is desired.
  • Proficiency in sales management or business development and partners management in technologies companies or connected products such as smartphones and smart TVs is required.
  • Experience in preparing and conducting partner executive briefings and contract negotiation and management is also required.
  • Proficiency in MS software products, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook is necessary.
  • Project leadership experience is essential.

  • Communicate regularly with partners to ensure service quality, address issues, and solve inquiries with support from HQ.
Strategic Planning and Development
  • Collaborate with headquarters and internal teams to develop annual business plans and strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of partners engagement strategies, considering partners' content, marketing, technology, and requirements.
  • Continuously refine the partner engagement approach based on feedback and results.
Collaboration and Execution
  • Develop and implement joint campaigns, events, and initiatives with partners.
  • Monitor and track the performance of partners' App activities, analyzing data to optimize results.
Analysis
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Monitor industry trends, market insights, and competitor activities to build region-specific strategies and best practices.
