Job Overview

Boeing Brazil is on the lookout for an Associate Structural Analysis Engineer who possesses a solid understanding of stress analysis techniques, engineering fundamentals, and effective coordination abilities. This role reports directly to the Mechanical and Structural Engineering Manager and is based in the São José dos Campos office.

The selected Associate Structural Analysis Engineer will become a vital member of the BR&T team, focusing on the development and support of both primary and secondary structures for the X-66 project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fundamental structural analysis utilizing established analytical tools to define the structural environment, characteristics, and performance metrics.
  • Assist in product design and validate the structural integrity of components by employing analytical techniques, finite element models/simulations, and various analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to ensure safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Engage with customers and other stakeholders to comprehend and facilitate structural solutions.
  • Operate under general supervision.

Work Environment:

This position requires 100% onsite presence at the designated location.

Employment Eligibility:

Candidates must have existing rights to work in Brazil.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A degree in Engineering is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in both verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA) is required.
  • Relevant experience in Structural Engineering is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with structural analysis methods and tools, including Hand-Calculation and Finite Element Analysis Method.
  • Familiarity with flight controls, mechanical systems, and hydraulic systems is advantageous.

Relocation Policy:

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Candidates should either reside in the immediate area or manage their own relocation expenses.

Additional Information:

This position is for local hiring in Brazil. Candidates must possess current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil. Compensation and benefits are determined locally and are not part of Boeing's U.S. payroll system.
