Amazon Servicos De Varejo Do Brasil Ltda. is seeking a dynamic Retail Business Manager to play a key role within the Retail team. As a Category Growth Specialist, you will be responsible for driving business growth by analyzing market trends, negotiating vendor terms, and implementing promotions.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Focus: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of customer needs, emerging product trends, and market segment evolution.
- Vendor Management: Own and manage vendor relationships, auditing and escalating performance, improving terms and cost structures through negotiation, and developing long-term partnerships.
- Business Ownership: Represent customer and business needs in interactions with central teams, projects, and initiatives, driving central teams to improve customer-facing and internal systems, and implementing centrally driven initiatives within the category.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Portuguese.
- Business Acumen: Experience in strategy, consultancy, financial analysis, category management, account management, product management, project management, buying, or marketing.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities and skills in cost management and defining business strategy.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, prioritization, planning, and task delegation.
- Influencing Skills: Ability to use both formal and informal influencing skills inside and outside the organization.
- Ownership and Initiative: Track record of taking ownership and getting it done in an environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel.
- Data Proficiency: Experience with data analysis and proficiency in Excel and systems.
