Role Overview

The primary duties of the Sales Solutions Consultant involve identifying, qualifying, selling, and finalizing new business opportunities related to the SAP Business Technology Platform suite. This role requires a unique perspective during customer interactions, utilizing all available resources to address client challenges with suitable SAP solutions. If you are eager to guide clients into the Digital Age, this position is an excellent fit for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts and customer relationships, focusing on Cloud Subscription Revenue and Renewals.
  • Achieve or surpass Cloud Net Bookings targets, as outlined in Demand Generation, Pipeline, and Opportunity Management.
  • Formulate effective sales strategies and specific account plans to ensure revenue goals are met and sustainable growth is achieved. Cultivate relationships with both new and existing clients to drive strategic initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by establishing robust relationships grounded in an understanding of customer needs and a commitment to delivering value (including the value of expertise, solutions, and implementation skills). Build a foundation for future business opportunities and maintain accurate account information and guidance.
  • Lead the designated territory, encompassing accounts, relationships, prospect profiling, and sales cycles. Encourage all accounts to serve as SAP references.
  • Develop and present a comprehensive business plan that addresses the priorities and challenges of customers and prospects.
  • Gain knowledge and act as an ambassador for the SAP Business Technology Platform among customers, prospects, and partners.

Experience Requirements

  • Significant experience in selling complex business software or IT solutions.
  • Experience in a leadership role within a team selling environment.

Education and Skills

  • Proven success in business application software sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large transactions and lengthy sales processes in a dynamic, consultative, and competitive landscape.
  • Exceptional skills in contract negotiation and management.
  • Fluent in business-level English.
  • Proficient in the local language at a business level.
