About the Role
The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is dedicated to addressing our clients' most intricate and critical business challenges by formulating and executing go-to-market strategies that transform AWS concepts into substantial revenue streams.

WWSO encompasses teams specializing in business development, technical solutions architecture, and specialist services. As a leader within the LATAM GTM team, you will oversee the comprehensive GTM strategy for AWS' Data and AI service portfolio tailored for our customers in the LATAM region.

This portfolio includes cutting-edge services such as GenAI, AIML, Storage, Databases, and Analytics. You will guide a senior team throughout the region, crafting sales initiatives, leveraging partnerships, and launching new projects that yield significant outcomes for our clients.

Your team will play a pivotal role in providing essential feedback from customers to shape our product development roadmap, collaborating closely with our partner network to establish a robust ecosystem that aligns with our customers' objectives.

In emerging sectors, your team will serve as the initial force to cultivate markets for innovative services, domains, or solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall GTM strategy and execution for Data and AI Services across the LATAM region.
  • Engage with CxO/VP level executives, as well as developers and technical architects, to generate pipeline, secure key customers, drive revenue growth, and explore strategic alliances.
  • Design and implement sales motions and programs that utilize AWS Field Sales teams alongside technology and consulting partner channels.
  • Collaborate with Service and Technical teams to develop solutions that address customer challenges, including reference architectures, automation, and release planning.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience leading high-performance teams in a matrixed environment.
  • 10+ years of relevant sales, GTM, or consulting experience.
  • 7+ years of technology experience in Data & AI.
  • BA/BS degree in a technical field.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven track record of building relationships with customer executives and closing significant revenue accounts across various industries.
  • Experience in negotiating complex deals with customers and partners, consistently exceeding quotas.
  • Experience in a heavily matrixed sales environment, managing cross-functional solutions and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies, including public and hybrid cloud platforms.
  • Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Spanish.
