Senior Cloud Sales Manager for LATAM

Job Overview:

Tencent Cloud is seeking a seasoned Senior Channel Sales Manager to drive the growth of our channel sales in the LATAM region. This role requires a talented individual with a proven track record in channel sales, able to develop and execute sales strategies to acquire and manage indirect channel sales partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate partner sales performance and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Address partner-related issues, sales conflicts, and pricing issues in a timely manner
  • Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales, and identify new business opportunities
  • Develop a positive working relationship with partners to build the business
  • Stay current with the latest developments in the marketplace and competitor activities
  • Communicate up-to-date information about new products and enhancements to partners
  • Develop process improvements to optimize partner management activities
  • Work with partners to develop sales proposals, quotations, and pricing plans
  • Deliver customer presentations, attend sales meetings and partner conferences
  • Assist in partner marketing activities such as tradeshows, campaigns, and other promotional activities
  • Drive revenue through indirect channel partners and their affiliates
  • Create sales channel plans to help partners meet their financial goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above in a related major
  • Bilingual in English and Portuguese; Fluent in Spanish is a plus
  • 5+ years of channel sales experience in the public cloud or related industry
  • Experience in identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new channel partners
  • Experience in educating partners about product portfolio and service offerings
  • Knowledge of Cloud, CDN, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS industry, and internet space is a plus
  • Knowledge in analyzing market trends and accordingly developing sales plans to increase brand awareness
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage sales activities of partners to generate revenue
  • Ability to coordinate with partners to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals
