We are seeking a skilled Account Representative to develop business through networking and sales calls.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, negotiating prices with customers, and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct thorough research on customer leads using various tools and resources.
- Cold call and prospect new customers to promote value-added services.
- Negotiate prices based on market trends and customer needs.
- Interface with the purchasing team to stay informed about current inventory levels.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to retain sales and cultivate a continuous pipeline of prospects.
- Develop strategic marketing plans to generate sales leads and drive industry growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Previous sales experience in electronic components distribution or equivalent supply chain experience required.
- Strong cold calling and relationship building skills essential.
- Ability to connect with customers over the phone and face-to-face to build relationships and close deals.
- Willingness to make outbound phone calls on a daily basis.
- Committed to customer satisfaction, confidentiality, and ability to manage proprietary data.
- Dynamic and self-motivated individual.
