Regional Business Development Opportunities
We are seeking an experienced Regional Business Development Director to lead our strategic partnerships and channel sales initiatives in the Latin America region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a regional market expansion strategy by forming partnerships and alliances across key segments to establish our presence in each country.
- Establish strategic partnerships in each country to expand our partner network, foster stakeholder relationships, and develop a dedicated team of Sales Executives and Key Account Managers.
- Nurture partner relationships, including building long-term collaborations, engaging regularly for support and co-marketing and sales initiatives, and conducting quarterly reviews to assess performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance sales growth through the partner network by focusing on upselling, cross-selling, and establishing clear sales targets and KPIs to maximize revenue potential.
- Recruit, train, and lead a regional team of business development professionals by defining roles, equipping them with necessary tools and strategies for partner acquisition and growth, and implementing a performance management system to drive revenue and partner satisfaction.
- Lead marketing strategies, overseeing the creation and execution of region-specific campaigns, co-branded content, and promotional activities, collaborating with headquarters and partners to drive our brand awareness and product demand in the region.
- Represent and promote our company at industry exhibitions, conferences, and events, while organizing participation to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and establish us as a thought leader and strategic player in the region.
- Actively utilize our CRM system to track and update performance metrics, such as sales growth, market expansion, lead generation, and partner engagement, providing detailed, data-driven reports on regional activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or channel sales in a B2B environment.
- Proven track record of building and managing successful partner networks.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, partner ecosystems, and channel management.
- Experience working with global markets and expanding partnerships across different regions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to develop strategic business plans and execute them effectively.
- Strong leadership experience, with a proven ability to manage and inspire teams.
- Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the telematics and fuel management industry would be an advantage.
- Fluent in English to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region.
