Purpose of the Job

Oxitec Brazil is at the forefront of advancing ground-breaking biological pest control technologies to save lives and improve livelihoods. Known throughout Brazil for our first-in-class Aedes do Bem mosquito technology, we are now seeking

a professional with an entrepreneurial mindset, eager to deliver solutions and generate commercial sales of our products in both the public and private sector for our public health portfolio. You will generate sales by establishing trust with and providing the highest level of service for new clients and distributors of Oxitec's biological pest control solutions. You will be part of a close-knit team that values integrity in all we do and will proactively pursue successful sales in

multiple-market channels with an approach of building long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, source and secure both B2G and B2B business opportunities.

  • Prospect & engage with leads to fill the top of the sales funnel.

  • Generate sales by building a strong pipeline of leads, to be converted into clients by the external sales team.

  • Execute the full sales cycle: identifying new opportunities through active market research and analysis; identifying key decision makers within your market segment; actively seeking out,

managing, and monitoring a robust pipeline of customers. Business deals will be mainly secured by the senior sales team, with exceptions.

  • Develop and improve methods for expanding the Oxitec customer database and raising the profile of our products.

  • Develop new business opportunities within current and new customer bases in accordance with the sales strategy.

  • Deliver engaging and customized presentations to share the Oxitec story with potential clients.

  • Continuously promote Oxitec through passionate discussions allowing potential customers to build a positive brand image through supporting Customer experience activities.

  • Work closely with the CX/UX team to ensure that customers receive best in class before and after sales journey to retain their business and look after client retention by ensuring customers' ongoing expectations is met.

  • Provide customer support for final customers (B2C), companies (B2B), governments (B2G), authorized distributors (PCOs) and retailers through online channels e-mail, chat and WhatsApp, carried out via the Zendesk platform.

  • Provide 1st level service (which ends in the first contact with the customer), providing pre-sales information, explaining Oxitec's solutions, partnerships, press inquiries, among others.

Skills, Experience, and Education Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in Customer Experience, Field Operations, Marketing and/or Sales, preferably in public health, agriculture,

    or related fields.

  • User of Zendesk, RD Station CRM and MKT, Shopify and Dynamics 365 platforms (not mandatory, but it's nice to have).

  • Experience with different segments and different products/services.

  • Knowledge of the Public Health Sector with an understanding of the competitive landscape is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of the Brazilian pest control market desirable.

  • A passion for the Oxitec mission allowing you to build and nurture strong business networks across the market.

  • Excellent verbal and written and communication skills; English is not a pre-requisite but an advantage.

  • Computer Skills.
