We are seeking experienced professionals for the strategic role of Partner Migration Program lead.
Due to unprecedented growth in the number of cloud migrations we are expanding our Brazil team to the next level. As a leader, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop and deliver on our large migration strategy by working with our key partners to support organizations transition to cloud. You will own the migration goals for part of our partners in Brazil, have an assigned Solution Architect and leverage proven programs and the deep experience and capability across our Solution Architects, Partners, Professional Services, and Business Development team.

AWS partners & resellers include the largest systems integration companies (such as Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini and Cognizant) as well as hundreds of innovative software and services companies who are using AWS to transform their customers. This role will focus on working with select consulting and systems integrator partners, their AWS partner managers and AWS account teams to create compelling commercial propositions that convert pipeline and lead to large enterprises migrating to AWS.

By establishing and growing business and technical relationships, and collaborating closely on joint sales engagements, you will be responsible for driving pipeline, new revenue growth, increased market adoption and the expansion of the partners’ AWS migration practice. The ideal candidate will possess both a business/sales background with a leading consulting or systems integrator that enables them to drive net new migrations to AWS services. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges, with the ability to build strong industry relationships. In this day and age of customer obsession, it is critical that you possess or demonstrate the ability to build the right level of relationships across not just partners but players within the industry. This person is an influencer by nature and must be seen as someone the partners are eager to engage with and have a strong hand on approach.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities
Leading the Partner Migration Program in Brazil entails the following:

•Own the Partner Core goals for MAP in terms of AWS and Partner Originated MAP wins ARR and Partner recruitment and enablement in Brazil.
•Identify and develop Migration Competency partners for Brazil and support local partner leadership on MAP goals
•Actively participate in the evolving strategy of the program by making meaningful contributions to key narratives and planning documents developed from the central program team. Both providing insight from the execution of the program locally and thinking big about how the program can evolve
•Support partners on the MAP opportunities and be a migration subject matter expert to help close SI partner migration deals and work with colleagues to leverage the AWS migration program funding
•Lead the enablement of internal and external partner teams on AWS migration programs
•Work with partners to build the top of the funnel migration pipeline and assist partners in moving the MAP pipeline through the various sales stages
•Support partners as needed to deliver key MAP activities such as Assess (Business Case and Migration Readiness Assessment), Mobilize (Migration Readiness and Planning), and Migrate and Modernize
•Maintain a monthly, quarterly MAP forecast

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- The right person will be technical and analytical, and possess 10-15 years of partner development, business development, product marketing, or program/product management experience
- Experience in selling large transformation projects with customers in Brazil
- Demonstrated success with managing cross group collaboration and multiple projects in a matrix and high growth organization
- A proven leader with previous regional and cross boarder management responsibility
- Breadth of expertise in private and public Cloud Computing (i.e. AWS platform), technologies and architectural best practices
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
- Strong written communication skills and fluency are paramount; high degree of comfort presenting to technical and senior leadership audiences
- Technical degree or equivalent experience required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of big data businesses and technical concepts
