Position Objective:

  • The Ecommerce Sales Regional Lead will be responsible for developing Tupperware sales and the overall brand performance on ecommerce channels for Brazil, Mexico and Argentina.
  • Lead business development and operational planning ensuring the E2E optimization, efficiency and profitability on Marketplaces, Own Stores, e-Retailers, etc.
  • He/She will lead the Ecommerce sales team and is responsible to deliver both sales and consumer satisfaction targets, and drives the day-to-day operations according to the strategy aligned with regional and market leaders.
  • The daily functions of this role will be focused on driving ecommerce sales operations to ensure achieving the KPI´s targets. Create and execute ecommerce annual plan for each ecommerce channel. Improve go to market capabilities. Align with internal teams the whole commercial execution Product, Price, Promotion, Placement, POS execution, etc.
  • The leader will play a key role in on expanding ecommerce business across Latam.

KPIs:

Success in this role is defined by creating profitable growth through ecommerce channels.

The primary KPIs to manage are:

  • Ecommerce Revenue
  • Ecommerce Profit
  • ROAS
  • Traffic Generation: organic and paid

The Manager will collaborate on building the capabilities to leverage the best tools available in the marketplaces to drive profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the ecommerce sales and operations team to execute ecommerce growth plans and achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Partnership with Ecommerce Content lead, Ecommerce Performance lead, Marketing, Merchandising and others to create the integrated ecommerce growth plan for the region and ensure the execution.
  • Partnership with the Ecommerce Content & SEO lead to maximize the impact of content execution and SEO to deliver the best CX for our shoppers and drive sales growth.
  • Partnership with the Ecommerce performance lead to maximize the sales impact and profit of performance initiatives, either organic or paid.
  • Partnership with Digital marketing team to improve the performance and CX of digital initiatives with call to action to ecommerce.
  • Work closely with the Digital Ecommerce Director to ensure the deployment of digital commerce strategy across the region.
  • Actively participates on building new ecommerce business capabilities to leverage and maximize our competitive advantage. Fuel forward-thinking and always be looking to drive growth to business
  • Ensures the Ecommerce sales team is constantly evolving to meet business needs and business opportunities.
  • Provide clear direction to the team to ensure that smart risks are being taken and that financial targets are met
  • Build relationships with external ecommerce key players to ensure the collaboration needed to growth our business, capturing market opportunities.
  • Build relationships and collaboration with internal commercial leaders, and key stakeholders.
  • Develop a compelling, unified, end-to-end consumer experience which enhances the brand positioning while increasing ecommerce performance.
  • Partner with Marketing and Branding to ensure branding and brand message is consistent in all digital implementation.
  • Anticipate future requirements, trends, and changes and collaborate with technology groups to drive innovation and customer satisfaction
  • Stay abreast of changing technologies and work closely with all IT disciplines to ensure timely and appropriate adoption of new technologies and business solutions
  • Other projects and responsibilities as required.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience leading E-commerce sales and operations, familiar with Brazilian market.
  • At least 3 years of related experience managing sales with marketplaces such as “Amazon” and “Mercado Livre”. 1P, 3P, etc.
  • Proven track record overseeing and implementing successful ecommerce growth plans.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Marketing, Comms or related.
  • English and Portuguese Fluency.
  • Industry Background. Ideally candidates coming from CPG companies or they can also be currently working at Amazon or Mercado Libre.

Desired Requirements

  • Previous experience leading teams
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce P&L and RGM.
  • Previous experience leading the ecommerce sales team for other countries in Latam.
  • The perfect candidate will have experience managing both the amazon and Mercado Libre.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills; high level of accuracy and detail orientation (strong tactical execution).
  • Flexibility; demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of work and manage multiple priorities simultaneously; ability to meet deadlines
  • Innovative; high level of creativity and resourcefulness.
  • Availability to Travel.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Entrepreneurial attitude and familiarity with the strategies and tactics needed to develop and grow new ecommerce opportunities across Latam.
  • Management and leadership experience in Ecommerce and digital business for CPG products.
  • A proven ability to build and lead successful sales teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative be proactive in identifying issues and recommending solutions.

  • Ability to work with different teams and drive performance improvement.
  • Strong time management skills; ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects with multi goals and objectives.
  • Ability to identify areas of opportunity, develop a plan of action to improve, implement and evaluate the plan effectively.
