The Logistics Lead role is crucial for ensuring that the right products are available at the right place and time, meeting customer demands while optimizing costs and resources. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall strategy, performance and execution of our logistics and 3PL operations in São Paulo. This includes overseeing and optimizing the various elements of logistics and supply chain operations within an organization. The role involves managing and facilitating the end-to-end supply chain, including ex-factories, inbound, inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and distribution. Furthermore, the role extends to the strategic cultivation of robust 3PL relationships, emphasizing the importance of fostering collaborative partnerships and championing the On culture as we continue to scale the business.

Your mission

– Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain team to implement effective supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs

– Work closely with the Freight and Customs teams to facilitate the coordination and monitoring of goods from ex-factories to the port/airport.

– Collaborate closely with the Sales and Controlling teams to align logistics capabilities with volume forecasts.

– Oversee warehouse operations, including storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.

– Collaborate closely with our 3PL partner to implement efficient warehouse layouts and processes to enhance productivity.

– Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.

– Establish and execute an inventory tracking process, conducting routine audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

– Collaborate closely with our 3PL partner to support and streamline the coordination and optimization of transportation activities, carrier selection, and shipment tracking.

– Negotiate contracts with our 3PL to ensure cost-effective and reliable transportation.

– Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.

– Establish contingency plans to address disruptions in the logistics and supply chain processes.

– Utilize data and analytics to assess performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

– Generate regular reports for management to provide insights into logistics and supply chain performance.

– MBR: Track progress on monthly goals.

– QBR: Evaluate quarterly performance, discuss achievements and challenges, and plan for the next quarter.

– Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

– Stay informed about changes in logistics and transportation regulations that may impact operations.

– Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations.

Your story

– Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field

– 10+ years of site management responsibility with working knowledge of 3PL warehouse operations, supply chain, and transportation preferred

– 5+ years of people management experience

– Proven ability to lead and manage projects

– Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills

– Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work across a variety of business processes

– Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies

– Proficient with Microsoft applications, WMS, and ERP systems

– Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.

– English proficiency: advanced
