About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Director - Construction to join our team at Ellawayblues. As a leading specialized heavy industrial services business in the US, we are committed to delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Oversee all project-specific cash flow, job margin, labor force management, indirect costs, and overall supervision of Project Management staff and responsibilities.
  • Financial Management: Mastery of the department's Job Margin and Gross Profit performance, ownership of the department's Annual Budget and Forecast in cooperation with the General Manager.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Hold Weekly Job/Project progress status meetings with estimating and project management teams focused on job margin, existing and emerging issue resolution, manage and coordinate department HR issues with upper management and Corporate HR.
  • Strategic Decision Making: Consult with the Manager's on Opportunity Analysis (Cost/Benefit, Risk/Reward) and high-risk business cases, engaged participation in leadership training courses.
  • Culture and Environment: Promote and maintain a supportive, respectful, professional, harassment-free work environment for all department labor and staff employees.

Requirements:

  • Education: College degree in Business, Organizational Management, Construction Management, Engineering Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 15+ years of construction experience, 5+ years of direct leadership experience, and experience in full P&L management.
