Position Overview:
The Sales and Commercial Operations Manager will oversee the Hardware, Software, Peripheral, and PS Digital Business Categories for key account sales. This role is crucial for achieving sales objectives, optimizing retail space, and managing administrative responsibilities. The individual will be a strategic member of a dynamic team focused on business development and enhancing customer relationships. This position reports directly to the Commercial Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
  2. Collaborate across functional areas to drive business initiatives.
  3. Assist in the development of commercial strategies to achieve business objectives.
  4. Establish and nurture relationships with retailers to support their business goals through effective product marketing.
  5. Maximize the impact of all PlayStation offerings at retail launches by negotiating support at the point of sale and through various advertising channels.
  6. Maintain ongoing communication with distribution teams to coordinate additional retail space for displays and promotional materials.
  7. Provide insights into sales forecasts and adjust plans to align with PlayStation objectives.
  8. Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to guide future sales and marketing strategies.
  9. Develop comprehensive retail activity and promotional calendars tailored to each account.
  10. Ensure healthy retail inventory levels to capitalize on sales opportunities.
  11. Conduct regular analyses of sales data and present strategic recommendations.
  12. Implement and assess effective Retail Marketing campaigns.
  13. Maintain strong trade relations and customer support through effective execution of brand strategies.
  14. Prepare and consolidate reporting packages with sales data, market share information, and competitive analysis.
  15. Conduct regular meetings with retail buyers to optimize sales performance.
  16. Collaborate with the PlayStation Trade/Channel Marketing team to ensure successful implementation of plans and initiatives.

Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in sales and management, preferably in consumer electronics or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or communications, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of merchandising, branding, sales analysis, and retail advertising.
- Creative and energetic team player who embraces change and seeks continuous improvement.
- Resourceful in identifying solutions to business challenges.
- Proven ability to execute strategic visions while managing tactical initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills to understand market performance and develop optimized business solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach.
- Results-oriented with a focus on delivery.
- Forward-thinking with experience in planning, collaborating, and negotiating optimal business solutions.
- Ability to work across teams to achieve outstanding results.
- Proficiency in English.
