At this point, Zelh is looking for **Over the Road Account Manager**, who will be responsible for managing the full truckload shipment process, from booking loads and negotiating carrier rates to ensuring on-time delivery. This role serves as the primary contact for customers, providing updates, resolving service issues, and maintaining strong carrier relationships to ensure cost-effective and reliable transportation solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage the full OTR shipment process from load booking to final delivery, ensuring on-time and cost-effective execution.
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned customers, providing regular shipment updates and resolving any service issues.
- Source and secure capacity with carriers, negotiating competitive rates and maintaining strong carrier relationships.
- Prepare and send accurate rate quotes to customers based on market conditions and shipment requirements.
- Track and trace shipments daily, proactively addressing delays or service exceptions.
- Update transportation management systems (TMS) with shipment details, documentation, and status updates.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and billing teams to ensure smooth coordination and accurate invoicing.
- Monitor carrier performance and provide feedback to maintain service standards.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements in OTR logistics processes.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and customer-specific requirements.
- Proven experience in Over-the-Road (OTR) logistics or freight brokerage.
- Knowledge of expedited shipments and equipment types including cargo vans, straight trucks, flatbeds, dry vans, and reefers.
- Proficiency with load boards such as Sylectus and DAT.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with both carriers and customers.
- Experience in providing quotes, securing loads, and ensuring on-time delivery for customer shipments.

- Working schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST
