Job Description:
- Key Role and Responsibilities
- The Network Development Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sustainable network partnerships with various participants across the payments and fintech ecosystem. This includes managing a portfolio of existing partnerships, driving value through revenue-focused commercial strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless, compliant, and reliable payments experiences for Global Network Members.
- Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute joint initiatives with key banking and network partners to drive business growth and expansion.
- Manage relationships end-to-end to ensure all aspects of partnerships are working seamlessly, commercially and operationally.
- Work closely with Product teams to secure network partners' suitability for our platform and influence developments required to enhance our value proposition based on local payments needs.
- Understand and articulate payment-related nuances among different markets to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the geos covered.
- Leverage industry expertise to craft thoughtful partnerships and product strategies with banks and networks, partnering with Business Development and various stakeholders.
- Drive revenue within accounts through cross and up-sell opportunities in close collaboration with our Go-To-Market and Account Management teams.
- Steer deal execution with Business Development teams, ensuring proper execution plans are in place.
- Gather inputs from internal stakeholders and coordinate strategy creation and execution with partner teams.
- Support an aligned holistic network strategy and advance it with Financial Institutions (FIs).
- Ensure timely reporting and record-keeping, utilizing CRM tools with precision, and sharing feedback on performance and partnership activity.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
- At least 5+ years of network partnerships and business development experience working with financial institutions and payments companies across the region.
- Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven track record of top commercial performance in a Payments business with ability to grow revenue share.
- Excellent negotiation skills and tenacity to drive commercial value in upsell and cross-sell scenarios.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including compliance, legal, solutions delivery, treasury, and finance.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive consensus without direct authority.
- Language Skills:
- Proficiency in English, Spanish, or Portuguese is a plus.
