About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our Life Sciences Solutions team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base in the Life Sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets for a portfolio of scientific databases and solutions, including Solutions Products and Content Licensing.
  • Employ a consultative approach to understand client needs and develop tailored sales strategies to meet their requirements.
  • Formulate and implement account strategies to address differentiated needs and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to execute annual account planning and review sales results and forecasts regularly.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regional and federal government agencies to identify opportunities for scientific databases and solutions.
  • Provide market feedback to enhance product development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Participate in trade shows and conferences to promote our solutions and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • University degree, Master's or degree in a relevant field.
  • Extensive sales experience at senior levels, with a background in complex solution-sales approach.
  • Ability to operate on an operational, tactical, and strategic level, with experience in building out business with customers.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a proven track record selling technology and solutions.
  • Passionate about building relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in strategic account planning and connecting the dots within customer institutions.
  • Experience selling enterprise software and working in an international matrixed organisation.
  • Experience working in or with research administration and management functions.
  • Knowledge of regional or national research programs, collaboration networks, and key opinion leaders.
