Sales Director

Financial Responsibilities:
To contribute to the preparation of the yearly revenue and expense budget, ensuring that financial goals are met.
Administrative Tasks:
Prepare and submit relevant administration tasks in a timely and accurate manner, including sales call schedules, sales call reports, and monthly reports to the DOS.
Participate in preparing sales action plans, attend sales meetings, and develop new ideas for special packages, programs, and promotional activities undertaken by the sales department, F&B, spa, and other hotel revenue centers.
Operational Objectives:
Respond to all inquiries within 24 hours, set up appointments, and make personal sales calls, telemarketing, and site inspections to all existing and potential accounts.
Negotiate with customers and send out offers/contracts regarding individual and group business, while maintaining an efficient customer database system (OPERA) to generate sales activities reports.
Personal Attributes:
Good understanding of corporate markets, hotel departments, and professional sales and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
A team player with a positive attitude, strategic thinking, and the ability to move strategy to action are required.
Managerial/leadership skills, self-motivation, creativity, and confidence, along with the ability to meet deadlines consistently, are necessary for success in this position.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales position in hospitality, with a degree or diploma in Hotel Management or Business Administration.
Strong knowledge of Opera and Microsoft Office, as well as fluency in English and other languages, written and spoken, is preferred.
