Project Manager for External Fulfillment Operations

The Brazil Operations External Fulfillment (EF Ops) team is in search of a skilled Project Manager to spearhead the development of new products, oversee planning cycles, and conduct regular business evaluations with senior management.

This team is pivotal in managing logistics for the marketplace and collaborates closely with third-party sellers.

We are looking for a Program Manager who will take charge of our product development initiatives and facilitate regular business reviews.

External Fulfillment (EF) encompasses various programs where Amazon partners with a diverse range of Sellers and Vendors to manage product shipments from their warehouses.

The EF Ops Program Manager will lead cross-functional projects, collaborating with teams in Brazil and internationally to design innovative processes, drive technological solutions, and create comprehensive project documentation while reporting outcomes to senior leadership.

The primary objective is to implement significant enhancements that improve the overall customer experience within the EF program and support our rapid expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, conduct root cause analyses, and propose effective solutions while preparing monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Transportation, Product, Business, Supply Chain, and other EF teams globally.
  • Lead the planning cycles for EF OPS, proposing mechanisms and tools to scale operations while enhancing results and team productivity.
  • Work cross-functionally to identify challenges and scope impactful projects in collaboration with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Business, Transportation, and Product teams.
  • Engage with stakeholders to drive projects, anticipate potential bottlenecks, manage escalations, and balance business needs with technical constraints.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of EF operations challenges and collaborate with product teams to define and implement both short-term and long-term technical solutions.
  • Facilitate weekly project status meetings and utilize project management tools to monitor initiatives.
  • Submit detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly managerial reports highlighting key program and project updates.
  • Ultimately, you will be the single-threaded owner responsible for ensuring the successful completion of your assigned projects.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in program or project management.
  • Experience working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proven track record in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLookUps) and SQL.
  • Experience in defining program requirements and utilizing data and metrics to identify improvements.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and advanced proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, engaging with multiple stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Experience in building processes, project management, and scheduling.
