We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales Director to lead our sales team in the Pulp and Paper industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong leadership skills and extensive experience in commercial operations.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for ensuring the execution of our sales strategy for the Pulp and Paper portfolio within the ABB Division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth, developing high-performing sales teams, and exceeding customer satisfaction targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve both qualitative and quantitative goals for services profitably, exceeding sales objectives and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Create, plan, and execute sales initiatives for business development in alignment with our global strategy, pursuing goals in terms of budgets and sales efficiency.
  • Spearhead sales processes and oversee all plans, actions, and relevant training and development programs, ensuring the team is aligned with their objectives.
  • Lead the sales organization, fostering a healthy, organized, and qualified workforce focused on sharing knowledge, cross-collaboration, and providing the necessary infrastructure to develop and motivate direct and indirect reports.
  • Ensure the application and continuous update of internal procedures and controls in the area, identifying and mitigating operational risks.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Automation, Electrical, or Electronics; MBA in Business Management is desirable.
  • At least 8 years of experience in commercial operations, including team management and sales leadership roles.
  • Strong experience in the Pulp and Paper industry, with knowledge of automation control systems and paper manufacturing processes.
  • Fluent in English, with advanced Spanish language skills desirable.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
